"Opioids: Conflicts & Controversies" a conference to be held in Washington, D.C. on 12-14 June 2019

Organised by the non-profit group PharmedOut, the conference will include discussions on the role of pharmaceutical marketing in creating and perpetuating the opioid epidemic.

PharmedOut is a Georgetown University Medical Center project that advances evidence-based prescribing and educates healthcare professionals about pharmaceutical marketing practices.

The group will be holding a conference entitled "Opioids: Conflicts & Controversies" on
12-14 June 2019.
