A conference entitled "Does Industry Influence Medical Discourse?" will be held in Washington, D.C. on 15-16 June 2017

Organised by the non-profit group PharmedOut, the conference will include discussions on "The Future of Drug Regulation", "Pharma's Relationships with Patient Advocacy Groups" and a variety of related topics.

PharmedOut is a Georgetown University Medical Center project, directed by Adriane Fugh-Berman MD, which promotes rational prescribing and exposes unethical pharmaceutical marketing tactics.

The group will be holding a Continuing Medical Education event entitled "Does Industry Influence Medical Discourse?" on 15-16 June 2017.
