Recombinant chikungunya vaccine (Vimkunya°)

 Marketing Authorisations  An attenuated chikungunya vaccine (i.e. containing a live attenuated strain of the chikungunya virus) was authorised in the European Union in 2024. Another chikungunya vaccine was authorised in 2025. It consists of viral proteins produced in cell culture, and an aluminium-based adjuvant.
